The Share Endowment Fund was established by our Board of Directors to allow donors to bestow gifts that are a continuing source of help to Share. Donations are invested in conservative interest/dividend bearing instruments with the annual earned income used to support program needs.

Ways to Give

Gifts may be made to the Endowment Fund in a number of ways:

📜 Wills or Bequests

Giving through your Will can be a convenient way to leave a lasting legacy. The testamentary gift may be in the form of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a stream of income from a testamentary trust.

💵 Cash

Gifts made in cash or by personal check are among the most common ways to contribute. A cash gift provides you with an established value for federal income tax purposes.

📈 Stocks & Securities

Charitable giving through stocks, securities, or mutual funds is one of the most advantageous methods for maximizing your charitable deduction. If you have owned appreciated stock for more than one year, you may deduct full fair market value and avoid all capital gains taxes.

🛡️ Life Insurance

Consider a life insurance policy to endow a gift; the gift may be for all or a portion of the proceeds.

🎨 Personal Property

Collectibles, such as art, jewelry, antiques, and other items of personal property make excellent gifts.

🔄 Trusts & Annuities

Charitable remainder trusts enable you to make a gift and continue to receive income from that property for life. A charitable lead trust enables you to make a gift of the income for a period of time with the remainder passing to family members.
