Share Housing & Essential Needs Program
The Share Housing and Essential Needs (HEN) provides rapid-rehousing assistance to households who are homeless. Households are found eligible for the program by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and referred to the Housing Solutions Center (HSC) for Coordinated Entry and Assessment.
Households participating in HEN are supported with crisis management and rental assistance for the length of time the household is eligible. Essential need items, such as cleaning supplies, hygiene kits, and bus passes are available to all Share HEN rapid re-housing households.
HEN clients must enter the program through the Housing Solutions Center. To determine if you are eligible, contact the Housing Solutions Center at (360) 695-9677.
